Living in France since 2006, I have run the gamut of life changes.
Moving a family lock, stock and barrel from a full time office based career in the UK, to a semi self-sufficient lifestyle in deepest rural France; keeping livestock, renovating a house, and learning a host of practical hands-on skills.
But following a life changing illness and subsequent diagnosis of Fibromyalgia I have had to adapt again, proof that life beings again in every decade.
I found that using CBT, relaxation and coaching techniques helped to give my life more direction and got me through those tricky moments when everything just seems to get away from you. We can play so many roles, for so many people that sometimes we just forget to take care of ourselves.
